About me

A proud father and adrenaline junkie, I spend my time planning and taking part in outdoor adventures with my family. I've scaled some of the most picturesque and tallest peaks in the world, including Mount Washington, Mount Rainier and the Grand Teton. I'm an avid cyclist. One of my greatest achievements was running the NYC Marathon, which happened to take place the same year as 9/11. And, yes, I proudly finished.

Insurance is personal to me. I knows how it can save a family at a time when they need it most. I guide customers, advising them on a full scope of insurance products and coverages ranging from car insurance, home insurance, condo insurance, business insurance, health insurance and life insurance. I also believe in accessibility and keeping the lines of communication open at all times, encouraging my family of customers to call or text whenever they need me. Fluent in Spanish, I enjoy connecting with people from many cultures. Our office speaks English, Spanish and Hebrew to serve all of our customers.

My Insurance Agency works with and welcomes families from North Miami Beach, North Miami, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Bay Harbor Islands, Miami Shores, Miami, Miami Gardens, Biscayne Park, Aventura, Surfside, Indian Creek Village and North Bay Village

I am a member of numerous civic and community organizations. As the father of six girls, I know a little something about raising daughters, so much of my volunteer work centers around empowering girls in underserved communities. I have worked with organizations, such as Taylor’s Closet, a nonprofit that seeks to inspire teenage girls to realize their full worth and potential; Indian Princess, a group that aims to develop strong relationships between fathers and daughters. I also serves as a board member for Florida Girl’s Giving Back, an organization that encourages philanthropy.

My passion for the industry developed after my family immigrated from Mexico. I recall how confused they were about insurance coverage and vowed to learn all he could to help them. I have since served as a trusted friend and agent for thousands of other families. My ties to State Farm run through my family. My wife is also a State Farm Agent.

I have spent most of my life in the insurance business, helping families and individuals prepare for the unexpected. I began my career as a State Farm agent in 1990 and my agency has become a pillar in the community. Much of my success comes as a result of the relationships I've developed with customers. I not only knows their names and faces, but I have also watched their lives evolve, seen their children grow up and offered a helping hand after a life-changing event or devastating loss.

I go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I have qualified multiple times for the State Farm President’s Club as one of the top 50 State Farm agents. I was also awarded the Million Dollar Roundtable honor.

Frida Alonso

Account Manager

Insurance is more than a business for Frida. This vivacious mother of three considers all her policyholder’s friends. Born in Tel Aviv and fluent Hebrew, Frida moved to the United States at the age of seven and feels a deep connection to the community she serves. This is her neighborhood, the place she grew up.

Frida has worked at Robert Nava Insurance Agency since 1997. Starting as a receptionist, Frida quickly realized she has a passion for helping others. She is currently the Office Manager. Frida holds licenses in property & casualty, life and health insurance.  A proud member of the State Farm family, Frida’s priority is ensuring that families are protected. She believes that if tragedy strikes, the last thing policyholders should worry about is their finances. An avid dancer, Frida competed as a child, and if you are at a party, the dance floor is where you will find her!

She’s the “go-to” Office Representative who will take the time to help policyholders understand the different categories of insurance. An avid baker, her most requested creation is an almond pound cake but this brave baker has even taken on the challenge of making a wedding cake! Of Guatemalan descent, Becky is the proud mother of three daughters. In her spare time (what spare time?) she practices yoga.
